Description

What You Can Expect
- Conducting strategic and prospective analyses of trajectories, pathways, and roadmaps for various bioenergy markets and stakeholders.
- Assessing bioenergy resources qualitatively and quantitatively for different valorisation routes (forestry, agriculture, wastes).
- Analyzing current and upcoming regulations.
- Evaluating biomass conversion technologies technically and economically (biological, thermal, and thermochemical).
- Communicating with EIFER’s clients to understand their needs, define work plans, and report progress and results (strategic, engineering, business development, and operational entities).
- Additionally, you will contribute to the development of EIFER’s research agenda and enhance its scientific recognition in the field by:
-Responding to public funded project calls
-Maintaining and expanding EIFER’s industrial and academic partnerships through proactive engagement and networking.
-Publishing results in scientific journals and conferences.

What We Expect

- Master’s degree or equivalent in chemistry, process engineering, environmental engineering or general engineering
- Knowledge of/and experience in biomass/energy is a plus
- Rigorous with quality/cost/deadlines
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work fluently (written and spoken) in English and French, German is an asset
- Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural team/environment, enthusiasm, reliability and independent working style
