At the Institute for Photon Science and Synchrotron Radiation (IPS), we utilize
cutting-edge imaging techniques to uncover the hidden anatomy and behavior of a wide
variety of living organisms. Our team of biologists has made astounding discoveries on
animals ranging from dinosaurs, to fish and beetles all the way to wasps (and more). We are
now seeking a talented individual to help us share these findings with the world through an
immersive virtual museum experience. You will play a crucial role in transforming our
scientific data into an engaging and interactive exhibit.

Responsibilities:
● Data Preparation: refine and optimize 3D meshes and textures
● Virtual Reality Development: integrate the meshes into an interactive 3D virtual
space using a game engine. Test on the Meta Quest 3.
● Interactive Design: Develop intuitive interfaces and interactions that allow visitors
to explore insect models, learn about their unique features, and witness their
movements.
Qualifications:
● Python , C#/C++ is a plus
● Strong interest in 3D creation, virtual reality, and game technologies
● Communicational skills: crucial for collaborating effectively with a diverse team
