EIFER seeks a Senior Analyst (m/f/d) for German energy markets and regulation.
This 2-year position in Karlsruhe starts ASAP. Salary per TV-L (100%).

Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002, EIFER bridges science and industry, providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.

Responsibilities:
- Policy Impact Analysis: Analyze the effects of German and European policies on energy markets, businesses, and consumers, with a particular focus on market design.
- Collaborative Research: Work with a multidisciplinary, multilingual team to shape the research agenda on policies.
- Academic Partnerships: Strengthen EIFER's academic partnerships in Germany and Europe.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to workshops, client meetings, and presentations of research findings.
- Scientific Contributions: Gain opportunities for scientific work and the dissemination of your findings.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in energy economics, governance, or engineering.
- 2-5 years relevant experience.
- Research methods and programming (e.g., Python).
- PhD is a plus.
- Knowledge of energy sector and political ecosystems.
- Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
