EIFER seeks an IT Service Desk Employee (m/f/d) - 1st Level Support.

The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting as soon as possible.

Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002, EIFER bridges science and industry, providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.

Responsibilities
- On-Site Support: Direct assistance to employees on-site with IT issues related to computers, peripherals, and software.
- 1st Level Support: Initial receipt and handling of inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving basic technical issues in Microsoft environments, particularly Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (e.g., Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Ticket Management: Documenting and tracking inquiries in the ticketing system and escalating more complex issues to 2nd Level Support.
- Modern Workplace: Supporting the use of modern workplace solutions, including Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services.

Requirements
- Completed IT education (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable practical experience.
- Initial professional experience in IT support, ideally in 1st Level or on-site support.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft environments, particularly Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Fluent German and solid English skills (at least B2 level). Service-oriented and friendly demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
