Student Assistant (m/w) – Research

Duration: 6 months, extendable
Working Hours: 6-10 hours per week (24-40 hours per month)

About the Role:
The Institute of Entrepreneurship, Technology-Management, and Innovation (EnTechnon) at KIT invites applications for a Student Assistant position to support research activities. This is a unique opportunity for students passionate about academic research to gain practical experience in literature analysis, data organization, and research development within a dynamic academic environment. You will contribute to research projects investigating critical issues such as resilience strategies for organizations in volatile environments, the impact of crises on entrepreneurial activity, and strategic responses to global challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on specified research topics.
• Organize, manage, and maintain bibliographic references using tools like EndNote or Mendeley.
• Summarize academic articles, reports, and other sources for research projects.
• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading research documents, presentations, and reports.
• Support preliminary data collection and analysis, as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Enrollment as a student in a German university (KIT preferred) in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or related discipline).
• Strong interest in academic research, particularly entrepreneurship, organizational resilience, and international business.
• Experience using academic databases (e.g., Scopus, Web of Science, Consensus, Research Rabbit) for literature searches.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document creation and data management.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong command of English (written and spoken).
