As part of your work, you will be involved in the following tasks:

• Expanding existing software through software development in the Chemotion team at KIT in Karlsruhe
• Developing functions in both frontend and backend
• Managing code using GitHub and code management in a larger team for mutual support
• Communicating and interacting with software users to identify weaknesses and necessary enhancements
• Implementing bug fixes and adjustments
• Documenting work on internal documentation platforms for both developers and users
• Contributing to publications and reports

Persönliche Qualifikation

You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or Natural Sciences with several years of experience in code development. You are passionate about web development and have a good understanding and expertise in developing well-structured code that ensures high performance of the developed routines. Ideally, you have experience in languages such as Python, NodeJS, Ruby, and JS, and have already worked with ReactJS. Knowledge of PHP and other languages is desirable. Both backend and frontend expertise are necessary, and UX skills would be a perfect addition to the team.

Personally, you are characterized by a high level of teamwork, structured thinking, and strong communication skills. Excellent English skills complete your profile..

Salary category 13, depending on the fulfillment of professional and personal requirements.
