Hiwi at the Institute of Nanotechnology, CHEMISTRY - Molecular dynamics simulations

Description

We are looking for a HiWi for the Institute of Nanotechnology for a limited period of 6 months, 40 hours/month starting May 1, 2025.

Your Tasks:

Perform molecular dynamics simulations of chromophore molecules in different solvents; to analyze intermolecular interactions and conformational changes of molecules in solution; to validate force fields in capturing specific interactions; to support in parameter-passing between different software and automation of computational workflows.

Your qualification
- A bachelor's degree in chemistry or physics
- English language skills
- Knowledge in the field of theoretical chemistry or molecular dynamics simulations
- Programming skills (e.g. Python)
