Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to join our IT Operations team. The ideal candidate will oversee IT support and licensing, manage hardware and asset operations, ensure timely software patching and maintenance, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders. This role is critical to ensuring seamless IT operations, compliance with policies, and alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide IT support, manage SLAs/KPIs, handle access requests, and troubleshoot system issues.

- Lead onboarding/offboarding processes, including account and equipment setup.

- Oversee procurement, deployment, and inventory of IT hardware assets.

- Manage hardware lifecycle (upgrades, replacements, disposals).

- Implement software updates, patches, and work with cybersecurity to address vulnerabilities.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies.

- Collaborate across departments and act as the escalation point for complex IT issues.

Requirements:

- Degree or vocational training in IT Administration.

- Experience in IT support or administration roles.

- Fluent in English and German.

- Strong knowledge of asset management, licensing, patching, and ITSM tools (e.g., Jira).

- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization (e.g., VMware), backup solutions, MDM, and network troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN).
