Smart Robotics for Autonomous Bin Picking and Logistics

Entry from the 26.05.2025
Position number 119138
Job vacancy: From now on

Description

Robotic bin picking relies on the combination of perception and
manipulation to identify and grasp objects from unordered
containers.
This project focuses on enabling a Universal Robot to identify
and grasp randomly placed objects from a bin using a depth
camera for 3D perception and a suction gripper for flexible
object handling. The research challenge lies in how to robustly
integrate perception and control to enable intelligent,
autonomous picking in unstructured environments.
